UTICA — UMN For the Arts will host a “Celebration of Artists” on Nov. 9 from 6 to 8 pm at Bagg’s Square Brewing Company, recognizing the latest graduating class of creative entrepreneurs from its fledgling Artist Refinery program.
The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce will also conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at the event commemorating Utica Monday Nite’s 25th Anniversary.
The Artist Refinery’s fall class recently completed an 8-week sprint program where they received personalized instruction from local business professionals on operating and refining an established creative enterprise.
The event offers them the opportunity to display and demonstrate their respective creative endeavors to guests during a reception featuring food and drinks, music by DJ Ryan Rys, and a cash raffle.
Attendees are encouraged to pre-register for the celebration at https://umn4arts.org/register. The first 100 registrants will receive their first drink on the house. This program is a partnership between UMN for the Arts and Thincubator.
The “Celebration of Artists” is free and open to the public, however donations in support of the Artist Refinery program are greatly appreciated.
